Nick Ervinck has West-Flemish roots en he lives and works in Lichtervelde. In recent years he gained increasing popularity and esteem for his large yellow sculptures in public space. Various techniques such as 3D-prints, video animations, digital and ‘normal’ drawings are intertwined and result in monumental sculptures. He is extremely fascinated by the evolution of sculpture through time linked to the use of new materials and techniques and his is on a quest to add-on ti this tradition. Through the latest technology he creates complex forms that keep pushing the imagination.
