Guy Vording

Guy Vording (1985 NE) is confronting us with what we have forgotten. Historical events from old magazines he finds on his way are the starting point for his work. He reads, studies and analyses the texts and images he has been collecting for years and transforms them into a new intimate story. Guy colours away what is not serving the story he wants to tell and strikes out the text that is irrelevant, until he obtains “Black Pages”: cinematographic images that represent a scene from an imaginary film noir, where losing control over reality and loneliness become the central theme.
